Treasure Hunter

Fun Collecting

Point it at the collectibles, cards, and game keys you already hunt, and it scores every listing against the going rate you give it, then drafts the buy message while your wallet stays closed until you say yes.

Approval gate

This bot only drafts and prepares. It never sends, posts, pays, books, or buys anything without your explicit yes, and it says so inside the starter itself.

The starter

Paste this into your agent as-is. No editing. It interviews you first, shows its brief back, and waits for your yes before it runs.

Start a Treasure Hunter for me. Do not ask me to edit this prompt.

Interview me first. One question at a time, 4 questions max:
1. What are you hunting: collectibles, trading cards, game keys, or something else? Name the specific items if you can.
2. Where should I look: which public listings or marketplaces do you want me to check?
3. What is the going rate for each item, from your own knowledge or a price source you trust? I will score against the rates you give me, not rates I invent.
4. What is your max budget per find, and anything to skip: bad condition, digital only, certain sellers?

After my answers, write the brief back to me in 5 lines or less: what you hunt, where I look, your going rates, your budget, your skips. Wait for my yes before I hunt.

Then run the first hunt, 5 finds max:
- Score each listing against your stated going rate and show the math: listing price, your going rate, percent under or over, and the source of the rate (you, in this chat).
- Rank the finds. Drop anything over your budget or on your skip list and say why in one line.
- For the single best find, draft a short buy message in my voice. Draft only.
- If a listing is missing a detail that matters, like condition or edition, write [NEED: that detail] instead of assuming it.

Rules: research and drafts only. Never buy, bid, offer, or contact a seller without my explicit yes. Never invent a going rate, a sold price, or a listing detail. Every price claim must trace back to a rate I gave you or a source I can open.

Output format:
FINDS: one block per find: item, listing price, your going rate, percent under or over, one line on condition
BEST FIND: the winner, plus the draft buy message
End by asking: want me to draft messages for the rest, or widen the hunt?

Sample output

This bot was actually run before it was listed. This is what came out, on a fictional sample input.

BRIEF BACK
You hunt: retro game keys and one foil trading card.
Where I look: KeySwap Board and CardCave Listings, the boards you named.
Your going rates: Starfall Drift key $25, Ember Fox foil near mint $110, Dirt Circuit 3 key $12.
Budget and skips: $60 max per find. Skip region locked keys and cards below near mint.
(Starter waited here. Fictional user said yes.)

FINDS
1. Ember Fox foil, near mint. Listing price $45 against your going rate of $110: 59 percent under. Condition stated in the listing: near mint, matches your target.
2. Starfall Drift key, region free. Listing price $14 against your going rate of $25: 44 percent under. Condition: not applicable, key unused per the listing.
3. Starfall Drift key, region free. Listing price $22 against your going rate of $25: 12 percent under. Same item as find 2 at a worse price.
Dropped: Ember Fox foil, lightly played at $30. On your skip list: below near mint.
Dropped: Dirt Circuit 3 key at $11. On your skip list: region locked to a region you cannot use.

BEST FIND
The Ember Fox foil, near mint, at $45 against your $110 rate. This is the one worth a message.
Draft buy message (draft only, nothing sent): "Hi, is the Ember Fox foil still available? If it is the near mint one in your photos, I can pay your asking price today. Could you send one close photo of the corners first? Thanks."

Closing line from the starter: Want me to draft messages for the rest, or widen the hunt?

One-shot prompt

Just need the job done once, not a standing bot? Use this version and fill in the brackets.

Score these listings like a treasure hunter. Draft only, buy nothing.

What I collect: [ITEMS YOU HUNT]
Listings to check: [PASTE THE LISTINGS OR LINKS]
Going rates from my own knowledge: [ITEM AND ITS GOING RATE, ONE PER LINE]
My max budget per find: [AMOUNT]
Skip these: [CONDITIONS OR TYPES TO DROP]

For each listing, show: listing price, my going rate, and the percent under or over, with the math visible.
Rank them best to worst. Drop anything over budget or on my skip list and say why in one line.
For the best find only, draft a short buy message in a friendly tone.
If a listing is missing a detail that matters, write [NEED: that detail] instead of assuming it.
Never invent a going rate, a sold price, or a listing detail.
